9-5 experiment days 6-7

Gone too. In fact I may not have the whole week. It really depends. I’m taking some antibiotics that require me to stay up till 12. I somehow tend to stay up past that, and then wake up late. Although I am working. So in essence it’s not a total loss. But I don’t know when i’ll be getting back to normal. I do know i’m going to try to do it “for real” starting february 1st, as all of this month is “setup time”

This is fantastic that you are documenting this. I’m finding myself running into many of the same problems on my quest for 1000. Some of mine are a little different because I have a schedule that is already very structured and my challenge is to find any time at all. Funny, though, the looser and less regular my schedule gets (like late at night) the harder it is to do any productive work.

Wow a real comment ;-) Indeed, when you get out of whack, then you can’t really commit to any time outside of what your working schedule should be. It does seem the more time you have, the more time you have to screw around. By the way, technically going to be joining the thousander club, any thing I need to do to make it official? Like I was saying on GBGames blog, if I stick to my 9-5 schedule, then I should make the 1000 hours in about 8 months.

Nothing official is needed really. I guess all that is really required is to go through the revealing process of reporting on your hours even when it doesn’t go well. Would you be willing to have me include your hours in my blog occasionally? The update for me is that this week has been weak. It’s hard to find energy when I am recovering from a cold.

“Would you be willing to have me include your hours in my blog occasionally?” - Hey no problem. I’ll try to keep up. I find I can really type up a storm, but I leave stuff for a long time, sometimes. This week has been weak for me to, but eventually i’ll settle in and stick to it. This was how it was when I was walking to lose some weight. It just takes a little while to get into habit. (Of course more on this in the actual update)
